Lake Washington is located in the central part of Brevard County just north of the City of Melbourne. This peaceful area is very diverse having both distinct planned developments as well as areas with homes on 1 or more acre lots. The atmosphere seems rural, but you are close to shopping, entertainment at the King Center and nearby attractions such as the Brevard Zoo, and the Brevard Museum of Art and Science. Lake Washington is one of the few areas you can have horses as long as you have enough space. Check with Brevard County regarding zoning regulations. Wickham Park is a great place to ride too.
