Mims is a small rural community north of Titusville. It is best known as one of the closest villages to the Kennedy Space Center where residents and visitors alike can view spectacular space shuttle and rocket launches.

The 18-hole "Walkabout" course at the Walkabout Golf and Country Club facility in Mims features 6,956 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72.
